The TA55 rammer is equipped with a specialty GXR120 rammer engine designed and manufactured by Honda. The TA55 also features a multifunctional fuel tank with a breather shut-off, electrical shut-off, and throttle control with three fixed positions (Stop/Idle/Run). As a consequence of this specialty engine, the TA55 can be laid down in several positions without risk of oil leakage. It also features a low oil alert, hour meter, and air filter indicator making it ideal for maintenance.
